The governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, has severely criticized Javier Milei, highlighting his policies and refuting the constant accusations from the government regarding insecurity in Greater Buenos Aires. Amid a hectic day marked by the news of Argentina's exit from the World Health Organization (WHO), Kicillof emphasized that Milei seems to be looking to strengthen himself and his political force.
"I believe the electoral campaign has begun early. They fill their mouths talking and want to campaign on insecurity. But they always disregard the problem," Kicillof stated, adding that Milei should take responsibility and return the money he took from the Province. In an interview with journalist Gustavo Sylvestre on C5N, the governor expressed: "We must continue working with professional seriousness and significant investment, but this is a form of political scavenging."
Regarding the accusations of a 'bloodbath' from the National Government, Kicillof highlighted the need to take charge of situations that are abandoned. He emphasized the importance of maintaining respect for the victims in a challenging year marked by uncertainty about the holding of the primaries (PASO). For him, derogatory statements and tactics of constant confrontation do not contribute to addressing the true challenges facing society.
